What are the common side effects of PrEP?

PrEP is very safe. There have been no serious problems reported from taking PrEP.


PrEP may cause side effects such as loss of appetite, headaches, fever, muscle pain and nausea. These side effects are not dangerous and usually get better with time as your body gets used to PrEP. Most people on PrEP have zero side effects.
